School supplies will be distributed at the HCPSS Grab-N-Go meal sites (Links to an external site.) on Wednesday, May 27, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The supply pack includes a single subject notebook, pencils, pens, crayons or colored pencils, pencil sharpener, eraser, highlighter and glue stick. One or two packs will be provided to each family who requests them depending on the number of students in that household.

MVMS is slated to lose 3 teachers and one school counselor due to the budget. We will vote on the PTA testimony at the PTA Meeting on 3/11. PLEASE mark your calendar to testify on 3/12. Our PTA President will testify sometime between 6:45-7:30 to the County Council. The County Council takes into account how strongly the community feels based on how many show up. PLEASE help out MVMS by showing up. Online testimony can also be given at the following link.

The Mt. Hebron HS PTSA is hosting several mental health related programs in March. March 16 - QPR Suicide Awareness & Prevention Training @ 6:30-8pm in media center March 23 - Mental Health & Student Athletes @ 7pm in cafeteria March 24 - Screening of "Not Alone" with Panel Discussion @ 6:30-8:30pm in auditorium & cafeteria A showing of Screenagers will be held on April 16 at 7pm at Marriotts Ridge High School. This event is sponsored by MVMS PTA, MRHS PTA, HC Drug Free. More details coming soon!
